Misleading packaging but otherwise OK

It’s like you purchase a book with a title of ‘fit for life’ and find that the book is about a 3 week detox or weight loss plan. Even if the plan is genuine it is not what I bought the book for. This book mainly emphasizes on the Psychological aspects of eating. Emotional eating, will power etc. This is all good but it should be mentioned on the cover. I don’t have any cravings or ‘Emotional’ problems. I bought this book written by a nutritionist to learn more about food choices, better eating, better timing etc and all I have got is some Psychological GYAN which is all very nice but not what I bought the book for. As another reviewer has said “If you want to buy one book on nutrition / weight loss then get Rujuta’s book.

Fine book…but was expecting more

I’ve always followed Makhija’s articles on eating right. So when i came across this book I immediately bought it to read what she has to say. The title is very interesting. It’s a good book but i find it the contents very ok…. I like the portion when she starts giving details of diet. You can read this book at one go…I got this book at a good rate but if you buy from elsewhere at a higher rate then its not worth it…i still prefer reading her newspaper articles. But this book is an average read for all fitness freaks.

In all, a decent book…liked reading it but i’m looking forward to some in-depth knowledge about eating right in her next books.

Good book if you need motivation… But needs a patient read

It’s unlike a similar book by Rujuta Diwekar titled Dont lose your mind, lose your weight, in that Rujuta’s book is a real quick and easy read. Very crisp and to the point.. This one takes a lot of time to come to the point and dwells a lot on the mental toughness part, on building the mindset and the willpower. Not bad but like I said, someone like me who loves such books had the patience to go through it but am not sure if it can hold attention of many others. If there’s only one book you want to read on Nutrition, read Rujuta’s book.
